Tours of Garage’s spring exhibitions in Russian Sign Language
Экскурсии
Garage invites deaf and hard of hearing visitors on Russian Sign Language tours of the four new exhibitions of the spring season.

Tours include a visit to Garage Triennial of Contemporary Art—the largest-ever survey of Russian contemporary art aimed at developing and promoting it across the country. The Triennial will take place at Garage every three years. This year, the exhibition contains works by over sixty artists from more than forty Russian cities. Visitors will also be able to see the exhibition Toward the Source , featuring artworks based on Garage Archive Collection, and Irina Korina’s installation The Tail Wags the Comet: a three-level structure, in which the viewer is physically and mentally transported to a different space. Created especially for Garage, Irina Korina’s installation is the fourth Garage Atrium Commission.

The tour also includes a discussion of your age and my age and the age of the rainbow— a two-part project in Garage Square and on Garage Rooftop. The 100-meter-long wall before the entrance to the museum is made of 1,500 images of rainbow drawn by children aged 4 to 10 (including deaf and hard of hearing kids from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk) at the request of the artist, Ugo Rondinone. Rondinone’s rainbow-colored message OUR MAGIC HOUR on Garage Rooftop celebrates the spring season and the opening of the Triennial.
