Maria Udovydchenko

Maria Udovydchenko (b. 1983, Saint Petersburg, Russia) is an independent curator who lives and works in Saint Petersburg and Simferopol. She graduated in Museum and Exhibition Design from Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts in 2005. From 2007 to 2012 she worked in the Department of Arts Programs at the National Centre for Contemporary Arts in Moscow. From 2008 to 2009 she attended a course at the Open Workshops School of Contemporary Art, Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art. In September 2012, she moved to Crimea and opened ArtPlatz Residence, a residency for artists in Nauchny. Since 2013, she has been the organizer and curator of BEREG experimental project for young artists (Crimea) and Museum Night at Tavrida Central Museum in Simferopol. Since 2017 she has been the curator of education and research at the Institute of Street Art, Saint Petersburg.
