Guzel Faizrakhmanova (b. 1974, Kazan, Russia) is art historian and curator wo lives and works in Kazan. She graduated in Set Design from Feshin Art Academy in Kazan in 1993 and in Cultural Studies from Kazan State Academy of Arts and Culture in 2002. She holds a PhD in Art History. Since 2005 she has been a lecturer at Kazan State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. From 2009 to 2011 she worked at the National Centre for Contemporary Arts, Nizhny Novgorod and from 2009 to 2014 headed the contemporary art space Club 20/21 at Hermitage Kazan.
