Aleksei Trubetskov (b. 1964, Saratov, Russia) is an artist who lives and works in Saratov. He graduated from Saratov State Medical University in 1987, holds a PhD in Medicine and is a Professor of Medicine. He has been making art since 1991 and has taken part in over 100 exhibitions in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Saratov and other cities. He is a co-founder and has read the courses Contemporary Art: Overcoming Prejudice and Contemporary Art: Important Subjects at IMHO Gallery in Saratov since 2015. His research project Contemporary Art in Russian Regions has received the President’s grant for art and cultural projects of national importance (2015).
